You know him…he’s BJ Coleman. While not a household name like his current boss, Kimora Lee Simmons. BJ is part of the force behind Kimora’s brand. I have seen BJ in action in LA and NYC ( booksigning, and working KLS show in NYC), and he is fierce. He has a impressive blend of integrity about his vibe…he works not only to make Kimora look good…he seems to work because he has given his word.
Just a few weeks ago, I was working for Haven llc, a NYC-based firm that works front of the house for the KLS show ( well Baby Phat), and I had the chance to see BJ in action. I was part of the crew checking people into the show…and BJ was there making sure all of the celebrity guest were ushered to the photo ops, and just being a great host, overall.
Kimora knows how to pick em’ and that in turn shows her ability to lead well.
You rock BJ! We look for more from you in the future? Maybe your own PR firm???

Hey BJ, I would like to set up a meeting with you. I have a business proposal for Kimora, and would like to run the idea by you . I will be in the City, in mid June for the “PR Parade” Please, this a golden opportunity.

Ive been reading that K fired BJ bc Puffy wanted him 2 work @ SeanJohn.
K also fired James.
BJ released s statement saying “i know longer work for baby phat”.

First off. I would like to commend you for having the patience to deal with Kimora for so long. I know it must have been a hardship for you. I watched the show from time to time and I know I am a female (raised up and now out the hood) but I would have been whipped her into something wonderful by now. Hold your head up high and keep it moving. You are a young talented man. To talented to be working for someone else anyway. The next time you see Kimora tell her thank you. Just as well as you may have used me. I used you because now BJ you are almost a house hold name. Everyone knows you. Your a Rock Star. And contrary to what some may think she is not a house hold name. And you know God does not like ugly. And because Kimora has such a ugly disposition her face is turning into a round pie. Kimora aka Pie Face is going to be a Dame Dash Tale soon.

I think it’s soo sad to see Mr.Coleman and Mr. Campbell leave Phat fashions. I just recently found out and it upsets me, because my major is in Product Development and Visual Communications and dream t be in their positions some day…well not current positions…lol… I think they are very bright and dedicated men and are social butterflies and will continue to have a successful career. Even if it’s with Sean John.
And if you think about it…I wondered why on the show they’re not showing any NEW episodes of LIFE IN THE FAB LANE with Kimora… Oh well…I love the show but if they’re not in it nevermind…lol
